Freestyle Skating Sessions
As figure skaters advance and prepare for competitions and shows, they require special sessions for figure skaters only, where they are allowed to practice their freestyle programs with their music played over the sound system. Freestyle ice is available for figure skaters who have mastered Learn To Skate USA Free Skate 3 or higher.
Our Summer 6:30 am and our Fall/Winter Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:45 to 3:45 pm sessions are more advanced and reserved for those skaters who are Pre-Juvenile competitors or higher. Exceptions are allowed, but must be approved by the Skating Director. All figure skaters should begin their freestyle experience with their private lesson instructor, who can assist in learning the unique traffic patterns and rules of these special sessions.
All skaters must check in with ice monitor and pay or present Punchcard prior to entering ice. Absolutely no one is to skate without checking in first. Priority is given to 1- Premiere Plan skaters, 2- Guesting w/Punchcards or Payment. The Rinx is not responsible for lost or stolen Punchcards and there are no credits, exchanges or refunds for freestyle purchases. Please pick up a Parent Hand Guide for freestyle etiquette. Thank you!
