Snowplow Sam 1
- Sit and stand up with skates on: off ice
- Sit and stand up: on ice
- March in place
- March forward (8-10 steps)
- March, then glide on two feet
- Dip in place
Snowplow Sam 2
- March followed by a long glide
- Dip while moving
- Backward wiggles (6 in a row)
- Rocking Horse (one forward, one backward swizzle action)
- Forward two foot swizzles (2-3 in a row)
- Two foot hop on a spot (optional)
Snowplow Sam 3
- Forward skating(8-10 steps)
- Forward one foot glide (R & L)
- Forward two foot swizzles (4-6 in a row)
- Backward two foot swizzles (4-6 in a row)
- Forward snowplow stop with skid (one foot or both)
- Curves
Basic 1
- Sit on ice and stand up
- March forward across the ice
- Forward two foot glide
- Dip
- Forward swizzles (6-8 in a row)

Basic 2

- Forward alternating ½ swizzle pumps, in a straight line (slalom like pattern)
Basic 3
- Forward stroking showing correct use of blade
- Forward ½ swizzle pumps on a circle (6-8 consecutive-clockwise and counterclockwise)
- Moving forward to backward two foot turn (c & cc)
- Backward one foot glides (R & L)
- Forward Slalom
- Two foot spin (up to 2 revolutions)
Basic 4
- Forward outside edge on a circle (R & L)
- Forward inside edge on a circle (R & L)
- Forward crossovers (c & cc)
- Forward outside three-turn from standstill (R & L)
- Backward ½ swizzle pumps on a circle (c & cc)
- Backward stroking
- Backward snowplow stop (R & L)
Basic 5
- Backward outside edge on a circle (R & L)

- Beginning one foot spin (up to 3 revolutions-optional entry and free foot position)

Basic 6

- Forward arabesque/spiral on a straight line(R or L)

Basic 7
- Forward inside open Mohawk from standstill(R to L & L to R)
- Backward outside edge to forward outside edge transition on a circle (R & L)
- Ballet jump (R or L)
- Backward crossovers to a backward outside edge glide (landing position-c & cc)
- Forward inside pivots (R & L)
Basic 8
- Moving forward outside three-turn on a circle (R & L)
- Moving forward inside three-turn on a circle (R & L)
- Combination move: 2 forward crossovers into forward inside Mohawk, step down onto back outside edge, step or cross behind onto back inside edge, 1 backward crossover, step forward on forward inside edge and repeat twice (both directions)
- One foot upright spin (optional entry and free foot)
- Waltz jump
- Mazurka (R or L)
Freestyle 1
- Advanced forward stoking (MIF*)
- Basic forward outside and forward inside consecutive edges-
- four to six edges (MIF*)
- Advanced backward outside 3-turn (R&L)
- Scratch spin from backward crossovers (minimum of 3 rev.)
- Waltz jump from two to three backward crossovers
- Half flip
Freestyle 2
- Basic backward outside and backward inside consecutive edges-four to six edges (MIF*)
- Forward outside and forward inside spirals-c/cc (R&L)
- Continous forward progressive Chassé sequence (c/cc)
- Waltz threes (R&L)
- Beginning Back Spin (minimum 1-2 rev.)
- Waltz Jump, Side Toe Hop, Waltz Jump
- Toe loop
Freestyle 3
- Forward and backward crossovers in a figure eight (MIF*)
- Waltz Eight (MIF*)
- Advanced forward consecutive swing rolls (4-6 edges)
- Backward inside 3-turn (R&L)
- Back spin with free foot in crossed leg position (minimum of 3 rev.)
- Salchow
- Half Lutz Jump
- Waltz Jump/Toe Loop Jump combination, or Salchow Jump/Toe Loop Jump combination
Freestyle 4
- Spiral Sequence: forward inside spiral, forward inside Mohawk, backward outside spiral (c/cc)
- Forward power 3-turns-minimum of 2-3 sets (R&L) (MIF*)
- Continuous backward progressive Chassé sequence on a circle (c/cc)
- Sit Spin (minimum of 3 rev.)
- Loop Jump
- Waltz Jump/Loop Jump combination
Freestyle 5
- Backward outside 3-turn, inside Mohawk, into three backward crossovers, repeat three times (c/cc)
- Spiral Sequence: forward outside spiral, forward outside 3-turn, one back crossover, back inside spiral (c/cc)
- Forward outside Slide Chassé swing roll sequence (4-6 lobes)
- Camel Spin (minimum of 3 rev.)
- Forward Upright Spin to Back Upright Spin (minimum of 3 rev. on each foot)
- Loop/Loop combination
- Flip Jump
- Waltz Jump/Falling Leaf/Toe Loop Jump Sequence
Freestyle 6
- Alternating backward crossovers to backward outside edges- four to six lobes (MIF*)
- Five step Mohawk sequence (MIF*)
- Camel/Sit Spin combination (minimum of 5 rev. total)
- Split Jump or Stag Jump
- Waltz Jump/Half Loop/Salchow
- Lutz Jump
- Axel-(1) walk through, (2) preparation, (3) jump (not necessary to land axel to pass test: skater should have good understanding of the mechanics of jump)
Adult 1
- Falling and recovery
- Forward strides and gliding
- Forward swizzles (4-6 in a row)
- Backward skating
- Backward swizzles (4-6 in a row)
- Forward one foot glides, one time skater’s height (R&L)
- Two foot turns, in place

Adult 3

- Forward progressives
- Beginning two foot spin
- Backward snowplow stop (R or L)
Adult 4
- Forward 3-turns, outside and inside (R & L)
- Perimeter stroking with crossover end patterns
- Forward outside to inside change of edge sequence
- Alternate backward crossovers with two foot transition
- Footwork sequence: 3-5 forward crossovers to an inside Mohawk, 3-5 backward crossovers, step forward inside the circle and repeat
- Power 3-turns, one direction only
- Backward Chasses on a circle
Hockey 3
- Forward C-Cuts (1/2 swizzles pumps) on a circle(R & L)
- Hockey turns with speed in and out of turn (R & L)
- Forward slalom
- Forward stop and starts
- Backward V-stop
- Lateral marching crossovers (both directions)
Hockey 4
- Forward one foot pushes on a circle (R & L)
- Forward crossover glides (hold feet in crossed position for two counts)
- Forward crossovers (c & cc)
- Backward C-Cuts in a line (alternating ½ swizzles pumps)
- Back one foot glide, one time skater’s height (R & L)
- Mohawk (R to L and L to R)
- Hockey stop
