Applicants must be at least 17 years of age or going into their senior year of High School. Counselors assist in direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their group. They participate in the development and implementation... of program activities for campers and maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff. Above all, they stand as a role model for their campers and help them create lasting memories for years to come. ACTIVITY INSTRUCTORS

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend your summer? Hidden Pond Day Camp is currently hiring for the upcoming Summer Season! Instructors develop and instruct campers in their activity area. They ensure that camp staff and campers know and follow safety and educational procedures at their area and assist in the management and care of their area and equipment. Above all, they stand as a role model for their campers and help them create lasting memories for years to come. If you enjoy working with children, are interested in developing real-life problem solving skills, and are looking to have "A Summer to Remember," call us today and set up an interview. We would love to have you on our team! This is an 8 week position with Orientation dates beginning in June. Applicants must be college aged or older.

DIVISION HEADS (LEADERSHIP TEAM)

Our Division Head position is a position that consist of supervising campers, counselors, and being the go to person for parents. The Division Head position meets roughly 10 times during the school year, depending on the need and the camp open house schedule. Those meetings are on a Saturday before the open house, which the division head stays for and gives tours to families interested in seeing and hearing more about our camp. Applicants must be a college graduate or older preferably with a teaching degree.

Following are steps in the screening process for staff applicants of Hidden Pond Day Camp that are to be completed, depending on position:

1.   Call for Personal interview

The Camp Director will interview all seasonal camp staff, year-round administrative staff, and all staff on the Leadership Team.

 
2.   Verification of previous employment

3.    Reference checks
Applicants will complete form authorizing camp to seek reference.  Forms must be returned directly to that office.
 
4.    Verification of degree/license/certification
Copies of license/certification required for health care personnel, tripping personnel, and waterfront personnel will be kept on file.
 
5.    Criminal background checks
Voluntary Disclosure Form is required for all staff.
 

Prospective Employees required to be at least going into their Senior Year in High School.
