All Rinx Hockey Clinics Participants

The Rinx is following the new guidelines set forth by the NYSDOH, CDC and the Nassau County DOH to help prevent the spread of COVID 19.  The procedures for participating in our Hockey clinics are as follows:

  • All participants must Pre-Register online from our website prior to arrival at the facility.  There will be no “walk-in and pay” at this time.
  • All staff and players temperatures will be taken when entering the building and will be required to complete a short health questionnaire, to be filled out daily.  Any staff/player that has a fever of 100.4 degrees F or more will not be able to participate.
  • Staff members and Parents are required to wear a mask or facial covering while inside the facility.
  • Players are requested to come half-dressed to the rink.  One parent per player may enter the building to assist putting on the rest of their child’s equipment and skates.  Parents will NOT be allowed inside the rink area during the clinic.
  • Lobby bench areas and locker-rooms will be sanitized after each use.
  • Players are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session.  They will be asked to be ready to leave the building within 15 minutes of the end of their skate.
  • Players do not have to wear masks while inside the building.
  • Players must bring their own water bottles as vending machines are not in service.

Please remember to follow recommended “Social Distancing”, (6ft.) while inside the building.
