About The Rinx Synchronized Skating Teams
Synchronized Skating is the fastest growing discipline in US Figure Skating. Team Rinx was founded in 2008/2009 as an exhibition team. In the past ten competitive seasons, we have grown from one team into a multi-team Synchronized Skating organization, competing at the Empire State Games and the Eastern Sectional Championships and bringing home several medals and trophies. We are a team comprised of knowledgeable and caring coaches, dedicated and talented athletes, and supportive and committed parents.

The Rinx 2018/2019 Synchronized Skating Teams
SYNCHRO SKILLS 1 (Team Rinx - Island Breeze): As our new Synchro skills 1 travel team, they will learn how to work together while being introduced to the basics of synchronized skating and learning choreography for their season’s routine.
SYNCHRO SKILLS 3 (Team Rinx - Island Storm): The majority of this team is comprised of last year’s Synchro Skills 2 team. This is a group of highly determined skaters that are ready to jump up into the higher competitive levels.
PRE JUVENILE (Team Rinx - Island Tsunamis): The majority of this team has been together throughout their synchro experience. This group is excited to compete at their first Eastern Sectional Championships!
OPEN JUVENILE (Team Rinx - Island Hurricanes): This is our most experienced team to date. The majority of these skaters have risen through the Team Rinx Synchro program starting when they were 6-9 years of age in our Intro To Synchro group classes. They are coming off of a very successful season last year with 3 medals for the season.
